Bottled Water Packers

The Bottled Water Series of Packers are continuous motion packaging systems. While initially designed for the bottled water industry, these packers will meet a wide range of customer’s bulk container requirements (various shapes and sizes of high volume bulk products) in the dairy, foods, detergent, petro-chemical and pet care industries. There are two styles of packers, the Model GBP 240 and the Model BCP, Bulk Container Packer.

Bottled Water Packers

The Model GBP 240, Gallon Bottle Packer loads one gallon and one-half gallon bottles into preformed trays or cases (corrugated, plastic or wire, shallow or full depth, with or without flaps.) Product is fed to the upper portion of the packer in balanced and divided lanes by customer or Nigrelli supplied conveyor. Trays or cases are fed single file to the lower case conveyor section of the packer on customer or Nigrelli supplied conveyor. Trays or cases received on the packer conveyor are then metered in time with the product at the loading station. Loose product having been fed onto the packers infeed conveyor are grouped into the required configuration; and released into a continuously moving overhead pusher chain. This system guides each bottle independently through a grid where it is blended with its matching tray or case. The filled case is then discharged onto the conveyor.

Bottled Water Packers

The Model BCP, Bulk Container Packer, loads 2-1/2 gallon bottles and 6 liter bottles into preformed bliss or RSC full depth corrugated cases. Product is fed to the packer infeed system via single or multi-lane per package configuration by customer or Nigrelli supplied conveyor. Cases enter the packer at the same elevation parallel to the product on infeed conveyor. Product and cases are grouped and metered into a continuously moving flight bar. As the flight bar continues downstream, the bottles are transferred into the cases by an angled roller bed side guide. Fully loaded cases or trays are then discharged onto the takeaway conveyor.
